Unlike other lower-ranked nutrition software programs, Paraben Diet Tracker will let you track up to four people. This means your family can use the program simultaneously. Paraben Diet Tracker includes a personal information database for each person to record weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol measurements.

Although the food database is limited and doesn't offer recipes, Paraben Diet Tracker does allow you to "build" food combinations from the food database by entering the name of each food, the food group, the serving sizes, and then joining parts of other foods found in the database to create new food items. However, it only allows you to track your new food items using six nutrients and two user-defined items.

The software offers a snapshot progress tool; this means you enter measurements periodically (including weight, chest, waist, and thigh measurements) so you can monitor progress of each area easily.

Paraben Diet Tracker doesn't offer an exercise log: you cannot track the relationship between physical activity and your rate of caloric burning. The software also lacks a recipe-creation section, a recipe database, and an application that would let you create shopping lists.
