Diet Pro is a simple program designed to track food choices and calorie intake. You'll enjoy the conversational feedback, but may miss features that are standard in higher ranked products like DietMaster 2100, Nutrinote and DietPower.
Diet Pro includes most standard food related features; you can plan meals, create menus, track weight, chart diet progress, create shopping lists, print recipes, and publish cookbooks. It also allows you to export, import and email recipes.
The recipe manager, which contains over 700 recipes, allows you to add new recipes and edit or delete existing ones. You can also create a favorite recipe list for quick access.
You can track your fitness progress by tracking blood pressure, body measurements and heart rate with graphs that display your history.
The Diet Pro program complements the Atkins, Zone, Body for Life, South Beach and all low-carb diets.
The feature we missed in Diet Pro is the exercise log database. Without this tool, determining the relationship between your physical activity and caloric burn rate isn't possible. Other missing features include a weight calculator and body composition tool.
